Your First Visit
From babies to fifth graders, our team wants to give your family an excellent experience!
When you arrive, our team will happily show you the way to the children’s area. You’ll go to kids check-in where you can tell us a little about your family to help us serve you well. On our check-in form we’ll ask things like what allergies your child may have, how many children are in your family, and get your contact information.
Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you will receive a text message directly to your contact number from our Family Check-in system outlining the reason we are contacting you. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick up your child after the service.

Be Prepared
Here are some practical ways you can help us make the most of your child’s time spent at church:
- Pick a consistent service time and location to help your kids build a relationship with their leader and other kids their age.
- Practice the current memory verse with your kids.
- Stay connected to Lakeside Kids by following us on Facebook.
- Pray for your children each week as they come to church, and pray for our teams as they serve and care for your kids.
We believe the best way we can help your kids develop a strong spiritual foundation is by partnering with you. Together, we can help encourage, train, and pray for them as they grow in their faith.

Nursery
6 Weeks / 12 Months & 1-2 Years
We keep our Lakeside
Nursery rooms ready with age-appropriate toys that are thoroughly cleaned
between services. We have designated rooms for ages 6 weeks to 12 months, and a
room for 1 to 2-year-olds. We strive to win the confidence of every parent by caring
for babies as if they were our own. During service we play, feed and change the
children in our safe and relaxed classrooms.
Preschool
3 Years – Kindergarten
Lakeside Preschool classes
serve those from 2-years-old to kindergarten. Our goal is to assist you in
laying down the foundational lessons in the Bible. We introduce the teachings
of the Bible in a way that is understood for this age. We introduce structured
lessons in the form of Worship, Crafts, and Biblical Lessons. We encourage our
kids to grow relationships with their teachers and the other kids in the
classroom.
