Once you've decided you believe Jesus is the way to salvation and you call on Him for the forgiveness of your sins, nothing can separate you from His love! If you haven't already prayed a prayer of confession, you can do that right now:

God, I'm praying to You because I know I need a Savior. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for my sins and rose again on the third day. I'm asking You to forgive my sins and I believe through Jesus, I am forgiven. Father God, I ask you to lead me, guide me, strengthen me, and help me to serve You, and fulfill my life’s purpose. In Jesus name, Amen.
